Characteristic Callantsoog

The Buttermilk Place is located between the villages of Callantsoog and Groote Keeten.

Callantsoog is a very pleasant coastal village with six beach pavilions, one of which is on the oldest nudist beach in the Netherlands.



Every Wednesday evening Callantsoog has a cozy village fair.
The supermarket is open 7 days a week from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, as are many restaurants and cafes.
For nature lovers, Zwanenwater is an Eldorado where you can enjoy a walk.  ;



Of course there is much more to experience in this beautiful area: how about the West Frisian Ma rt in Schagen with in the summer months De West Frisian Thursdays, a day on Texel, the cheese market in Alkmaar or maybe the Juttersmarkt in Den Helder... not to mention the night market in Kolhorn?
